At Breakfast Club on April 10, 2010, Lois Charen read a
proclamation from the City of Sarasota that was presented to Leo Laier. Leo has conducted the Suncoast Concert Band and the Suncoast Jazz Ambassador Big Band since 1964 and has recently retired his baton. The proclamation, which was signed by the Mayor and several Sarasota dignitaries, proclaimed Sunday, April 11, 2010 as LEO LAIER DAY in the City of Sarasota. |
